We can read one of his answers in Lora Italic. There may well be more than one answer, depending on a variety of factors in the design and purpose of the individual typeface.2 -

Igor’s uppercase form look pretty good to me, but I don’t recall ever seeing the saltillo aligned to the x-height like that. Here are the Brill forms, including smallcap:5 -

As I recall, short descender versions of Stempel Garamond were available for Linotype setting (which this is, note characteristic non-kerning f).2 -
